====== Season Reset ======


After the WGI World Championship concludes, a **Season Reset** must be performed in Salesforce in order to enable planning and building in the new season.

Currently Season Resets are set to take place on **May 1st**, yearly. 

This process includes the:
  * Creation of the new [[business:season|Season]]
  * Process batch creating new [[business:groupseason|Group Seasons]]
  * Cloning and modifying for previous [[business:seasonrequirement|Season Requirements]] for Judges and Directors
  * Setting new dates for [[business:registration|Registration]]
  * Setting Season fields regarding [[business:standings|Standings]] and for [[business:sfcsm|SFCSM]] functionality. 

It also includes deactivation of any no-activity portal users, the cutoff is currently set to **no activity for 2 years**.
